We belong to the thoracic and vascular operations area at Skåne University Hospital (Sus). In the vascular area, there are three units: Vascular Surgery, the inpatient department Vascular Ward, and Vascular Outpatient Clinic. We provide both vascular surgical and vascular medical care for patients with various types of vascular diseases. Additionally, we are responsible for vascular care in the southwestern and central healthcare districts in Skåne and for highly specialized treatment of vascular diseases throughout the Southern healthcare region. Although we are specialized and at the forefront, we are a smaller area, which contributes to short decision-making paths and trust in each other.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a nursing colleague for our outpatient clinic! Here you will find a pleasant workplace with good opportunities to develop in your profession. In our clinic, six nurses work with vascular surgical and vascular medical patients. With us, you will work independently with your own nursing clinic, telephone counseling, and patient follow-up. You will also participate in doctor consultations. The clinic also conducts aortic screening, providing you with the opportunity to develop in this area.

Working hours are scheduled during the day with weekend shifts two work sessions every 5 weeks in the vascular ward 10.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. You have language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale. A requirement for the position is previous work experience as a nurse. Experience from outpatient care, diabetes care, or vascular care, as well as experience in wound care, is meritorious.
