Our Operations

Are you interested in working primarily with staffing, scheduling, and administration with varying tasks in the assignment? If so, you will thrive with us in Geriatrics. Here you will have the chance to develop our department by creating routines and order that enable healthy scheduling, support staff with scheduling issues, and handle other administrative tasks. You will have the opportunity to be part of a fantastic team in 30A.

In the geriatric acute care department 30A, the elderly, fragile patient is in focus. We provide medical acute care with a rehabilitative approach for the elderly with varying care needs. Together, we are innovative and constantly work on improvements to make care as good as possible for our patients and improve the working environment for our employees/colleagues.

Your Assignment

The role of staffing coordinator is responsible, and you will work closely with your staffing coordinator colleague where you collaborate well and distribute tasks between you in a structured and effective manner. The pace in the role can vary, and it is important that you have the ability to create order and structure in your work. The job requires solution orientation, responsiveness, and great commitment. You have the ability to prioritize between different tasks and perform them with precision.

As a staffing coordinator, you will work with short-term planning of staff and health and sickness notifications, as well as daily reporting in the personnel system. We see that you have documented experience in scheduling and can easily find solutions for creating healthy scheduling patterns and even staffing throughout the week. You are quick to learn new IT systems. Your role also includes scheduling upcoming students for the department, updating phone lists, and teaching staff in Heroma (the scheduling and payroll system), etc. You will primarily work with the professional categories of nurses and nursing assistants.

In a certain part of the position, you will also cover gaps as a department administrator during their absence. This means that you enjoy variety, flexibility, and that your workdays may look different.

Your Qualifications

Requirements:

• At least a three-year high school education
• Ability to express yourself fluently in speech and writing
• Good computer skills and IT competence
• Documented experience of working in a similar position and/or tasks
• Documented experience of working with staffing and scheduling.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with good organizational skills and experience handling multiple tasks simultaneously. You are clear and service-oriented. You enjoy collaborating and can quickly reprioritize your tasks. You have good IT competence and experience managing multiple systems simultaneously. You have documented experience in handling staffing and payroll issues and scheduling. It is an advantage if you have experience working in high-tempo environments where tasks change quickly with a focus on logistics and service.

We Offer

We offer a permanent position with a start date according to agreement. A probationary period may apply. You will primarily work daytime, Monday – Friday, weekend work can be discussed.
