On behalf of our client in Uppsala, we are looking for an experienced consultant in risk and compliance for an assignment in an international organization.

The Assignment

The assignment aims to strengthen and develop the organization's risk and compliance function. The work includes mapping current practices, identifying areas for improvement, and developing a cohesive, practical, and implementable proposal for a robust and integrated function. Consideration should be given to operations in geographically dispersed and regularly varying contexts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a current state analysis of the risk and compliance work

• Identify gaps and development needs

• Develop proposals for structure, processes, and working methods

• Integrate compliance controls into regular business processes

• Provide strategic recommendations for long-term development

Qualifications

• Experience in developing or establishing risk and compliance functions

• Good knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards

• Experience in strategic change work

• Good communication and pedagogical skills

Meritorious:

• Experience in international operations

• Experience in anti-corruption work and working in environments with varying risk profiles

About the Assignment

This is a consulting assignment in Uppsala at 100% where you will be employed as a consultant by Jurek Talents or have the opportunity to work as a subcontractor. Desired start is immediate, and the assignment is expected to last for a couple of months, with a possibility of extension.
