About us

Tanumshede health center, with 5,000 registered patients, is located in northern Bohuslän.

We take care of our own registered patients as well as nursing homes, which makes the work varied. During the summer, we also work as a tourist health center with many short acute visits. At the health center, there are general practitioners, resident doctors, district nurses, specialist nurses in diabetes, asthma/COPD, and cardiology. There is also a licensed psychotherapist, psychologist, and rehabilitation coordinator.

As an employee of Närhälsan, you are offered various forms of development opportunities, for example through internal training and mentoring programs. At the workplace, we actively work on development to constantly improve working methods and best meet our patients' needs. Please read more about the advantages and benefits we offer at Närhälsan: Link to our website (https://www.vgregion.se/introduktion)

About the job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide range and include the field of general medicine where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treatment-oriented in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.

The work occurs through both acute and planned activities. You work largely independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up patients. Close collaboration takes place with your colleagues in the unit and cross-professionally in the team, but also together with other actors such as home healthcare and other specialist care. Together with the health center management, you are responsible for developing and driving the business forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, therefore, supervision of students is also part of your role at the health center.

About you

You are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training as a district nurse. It is an advantage if you have training and experience as a care coordinator.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We would also like you to have an interest in digitization and business development.

A professional approach and a good attitude towards customers, patients, and colleagues is a given for you. We also see that you live up to Närhälsan's core values; Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.

Other

Travel in the service occurs, a B driver's license is required. Interviews at the health center will be held continuously.

Welcome with your application!

About the recruitment process

The selection takes place in two stages. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call relevant candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
