About us

Welcome to Närhälsan Hindås health center! We are a smaller health center with about 4,000 registered patients, consisting of a mix of relocating families with children and the local elderly population.

The health center is centrally located in the growing area of Hindås, with good commuting options by bus and train from both Gothenburg and Borås. There are stops and free parking available in close proximity to the health center.

We have diabetes and asthma/COPD clinics, psychologists, social workers, and rehabilitation coordinators. Our child health care center is part of the highly appreciated family center located in the same building as the health center. We also have a well-functioning collaboration with Härryda municipality regarding home care and special housing, which provides close and practical cooperation around the patients.

Hindås health center has a stable and cohesive staff group, where we know each other well and help each other in our work. As a small unit, we work closely together across professional boundaries, with short decision-making paths and the opportunity to influence working methods and solutions. About the job

Your tasks at the health center cover a broad and varied field and include the general medical area where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treating in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.

The work is carried out through both acute and planned activities. In the role, you have close collaboration with your colleagues in the unit and in the interdisciplinary team, but also with other actors such as home care and specialist care. In a smaller health center, this means that you get a holistic perspective on the patients and the opportunity to work flexibly and solution-oriented.

About you

You are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training as a district nurse. It is an advantage if you have experience from working in primary care and/or have supervisor training of 7.5 credits, but we also welcome you who are newly graduated.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks. You thrive in an environment where you sometimes need to think broadly, collaborate closely, and help each other across boundaries.

In meetings with patients, you are accommodating, attentive, and have a genuine desire to help others. You enjoy teamwork and find it easy to collaborate with colleagues and other actors. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and during visits to the clinic. We also appreciate an interest in digitization and organizational development.

Travel in the service occurs, a B driver's license is required.

About the recruitment process

Selection takes place in two stages. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
