Welcome to When Health Herrljunga Health Center!

Here, 31 highly competent and dedicated employees work in various professional categories such as general practitioners, locum doctors, ST and AT doctors, junior doctors, district nurses, general nurses, BVC nurses, nursing assistants/laboratory staff, medical secretaries, medical foot therapists, and teams within mental health including our psychologists, psychiatric nurses, and social workers.

We also have two heromar reporters in our team. We also have a team consisting of a district nurse and an ST doctor who work with menopause-related issues. We conduct rounds together with Herrljunga municipality in home care as well as in residential care. With our different competencies and experiences, we complement each other, which provides good opportunities for value-creating treatment for our clients. You will be welcomed by a wonderful staff group with a strong sense of community!

Currently, we have over 8,150 registered individuals of various ages with us, and together we work to meet our patients' needs in the best possible way. We have a rehabilitation clinic in the building and also a family center, which allows us to have good collaboration with these instances. You will meet a staff group with great job satisfaction and good cohesion. The health center in Herrljunga has train connections right outside the door, making it easy to get here by train from, for example, Gothenburg.

About the job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide field and cover the general medical area where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treating in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.

The work is conducted through both acute and planned activities. Close cooperation occurs with your colleagues in the unit and cross-professionally in the team, but also together with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with the health center management, you are responsible for developing and driving the business forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, therefore, supervision of students is also included as part of your role at the health center.

About you

You are a licensed nurse, and previous experience in primary care is an advantage, as well as if you have training as a district nurse, but we also welcome you as a recent graduate.

If you have experience working with patients with diabetes, elderly care, as well as work in SAMSA or are a trained rehabilitation coordinator, this is also advantageous.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.

In your work, you will meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you enjoy teamwork, and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We also hope that you have an interest in digitization and business development. We also expect you to live up to When Health's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.

Travel in service occurs, a B driver's license is required.
