Nurse Practitioner Wanted as Main Supervisor

We are currently seeking a nurse practitioner for a role as the main supervisor for Primary Care Fyrbodal.

About Us

The Primary Care Education Unit in Västra Götaland is producer-neutral and works for good quality in practice-integrated education (apl/LIA/VFU), training for doctors (AT, BT, and ST), and for psychologists (PTP) in primary care, which among other things contributes to long-term competence supply in the Västra Götaland region. Organizationally, we belong to the research and development area FoUUI within the administration Regionhälsan.

About the Job

The assignment includes planning and following up on clinical education under the leadership of the study director, supporting supervisors in their tasks, and being responsible for contacts between the organization and educational providers. You will be part of a working group of three nurse practitioners and be responsible for several care units in the sub-region. The assignment also includes working with other main supervisors in the region to develop the educational mission.

About You

We are looking for a nurse practitioner with a master's degree. It is a requirement that you have supervisor training equivalent to 7.5 higher education credits and experience in supervising students. As a person, you are communicative, creative, positive, and have an interest in student issues, supervision, and pedagogy. The assignment offers some flexibility, and we expect you to have a good ability to plan your own work. You need to have a B driver's license, and access to your own car is desirable. Great importance is placed on personal suitability for the position.

Conditions

The assignment as a main supervisor comprises 20% and is combined with a regular employment as a nurse practitioner at a care unit within Vårdval health center. The assignment is time-limited for two years with the possibility of extension.
