The Care and Welfare Administration, with its approximately 1500 employees, is one of the administrations in the city of Mölndal and encompasses elderly care, support for people with disabilities, and health care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social worker, you assess the need for assistance according to the Social Services Act and work from a holistic perspective with the individual's needs at the center (IBIC). The role of a caseworker involves many meetings with different individuals and following established working methods and routines. This requires social competence, flexibility, and efficiency. We collaborate extensively with our providers and other relevant partners, both internally and externally.

QUALIFICATIONS

To work as a social worker, you need to have a degree in social work or be in a program with at least one year of completed studies. Alternatively, other education that the employer considers equivalent. You need to have knowledge of the Social Services Act and have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have experience in handling home care or planning with hospitals. Knowledge of public authority operations, especially concerning the elderly, as well as IBIC, Treserva, and SAMSA is also an advantage.

The work is independent, but you will be part of a team of five social workers and have close contact with your colleagues. A large part of our work involves collaboration with others, so it is important that you are structured and have good communication and collaboration skills. As a person, you are comfortable in social interactions, both informal and formal. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. We see that you have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. It comes naturally to you to establish clear goals and plan activities and projects in good time. You need to have good digital competence and be able to effectively use and understand digital tools, services, and media.

We prefer that you have a driver's license.

We will conduct ongoing selection. Interviews and information sessions are scheduled for February 18 from 1 PM to 4 PM.

During the spring, there will be mandatory training sessions in our working methods and digital systems, and it is important that you can participate. You may also work some occasional days during the spring. It is important that you can work between weeks 24 and 33.
