About the Workplace

Slottskolan is a F-6 school located in Skokloster, Håbo municipality.

The school is situated in a picturesque area near Skokloster Castle, just under twenty kilometers from Bålsta center. Slottskolan is a dual-parallel school from F-5, as well as a grade 6. The school currently has about 250 students.

Our after-school program is divided into three departments: Safiren, Rubinen, and Diamanten. Our after-school program maintains high quality, and we have a good collaboration between home and school.

Your Responsibilities

Do you want to help continue developing the after-school program at Slottskolan?

We are now looking for two licensed teachers for the after-school program who want to manage and continue developing our after-school program. Together with your dedicated colleagues, you will be part of a team that works for a meaningful leisure time with a focus on students' learning, safety, and inclusion.

You have a relational approach where you, together with your colleagues, build trusting relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians. You are well-versed in the governing documents and mission of the after-school program. You plan, implement, and evaluate the teaching together with your team.

You are organized and can see the big picture throughout the entire school day, where collaboration between school and after-school is an important part.

You have the ability to create good and accessible learning environments that promote and support students in their learning.

You have an interest in creating participation and engagement among students during breaks, for example, by conducting various break activities.

You will become an important part of the school's management team, where school development and organization are the focus.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed teacher in after-school programs or studying to become a teacher in after-school programs and wants to work alongside their studies. You need to be well-structured and a clear leader. You need to have the ability to create good relationships with students. You need to have a good ability to communicate verbally and in writing with guardians. You need to have a student perspective characterized by the belief that all students do their best and that it is important to adapt oneself and one's teaching to different students' needs.

In schools and preschools, all individuals offered jobs, assignments, or internships must present a certificate from the criminal record register.

A six-month probationary period may apply.
