As an employee in the planning unit

you will be part of a group of urban planners, comprehensive planners, land and development specialists, as well as GIS and mapping functions. We are a small, tight-knit group that supports each other and has a friendly atmosphere in a beautiful working environment at Björkegrenska Gården.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will contribute to well-designed living environments by leading detailed planning projects with responsibility for progress, timelines, budgets, and quality. The role includes coordinating investigations and documents within architecture, traffic, sustainability, and producing planning documents that contribute to robust and sustainable development.

You will communicate with experts and colleagues within the community building administration as well as with developers, architects, and citizens.

In addition to detailed planning work, other tasks within physical planning may arise, such as reviews, investigations, citizen contacts, and participation in the work with a new comprehensive plan as well as updating architecture and cultural environment programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• education in physical planning and/or urban planning or other relevant education
• several years of experience in detailed planning in the public sector and thus also experience working in a politically governed organization
• proficiency in detailed planning software, Adobe programs, and the Office suite
• very good ability to apply PBL and MB
• experience in advocating for your position with well-founded arguments while maintaining a solution-oriented approach
• curious and exploratory working style, viewing the planning process as a practical tool for solving complex issues and creating consensus
• Strong relationship and communication focus, as well as good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish
• We place great importance on your personal qualities and would like you to be proactive and enjoy working both independently and in a team.
• It is an advantage if you can illustrate and examine projects through your knowledge of, for example, Rhino and Adobe programs
• Advanced knowledge in sustainable development is also an advantage
