Your Role

We are two areas consisting of nine sections and about 150 employees working with design and system design for submarines throughout their lifecycle. The Hull and Weapon Integration area is responsible for developing mechanical systems with a focus on integration solutions, lifting equipment, propulsion, and welding and composite constructions. The Outfitting area is responsible for arrangements, pipe construction, cable routing, standard components, living environment, etc.

Your Profile

We are looking for a curious designer who understands the importance of collaboration and interaction with other areas of responsibility within both technology and production. With your precision and structured way of working, you can document and communicate your choices and decisions in a convincing manner.

We see that you have:

• Master's degree or BSc in mechanical engineering, marine design, or equivalent experience.
• Strong initiative and a desire to take ownership of results.
• Effective communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is a merit if you have:

• Technical project management/coordinating experience in process or product development.
• Experience in the marine industry, process, or manufacturing industry.
• Experience with large-scale, complex development projects.
• Military background, preferably within the navy.
