As a Tool Technician at Nolato Polymer, you will play a key role in ensuring that we produce products of the highest quality. You will work with cutting machining such as milling and turning, perform repairs, improvements, and maintenance of molds. This also includes disassembly and assembly of tool parts, status assessments, and maintenance of wear parts. You will handle simpler repairs of molds in case of breakdowns and determine if repairs should be carried out by an external workshop if necessary. Other machining, service on other production equipment, and improvement work will also occur.

Your job responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring fault reports in the tool register
• Maintenance and repair of molds
• Dialogue with production planning regarding prioritization
• Participating in design reviews
• Assisting in testing new tools
• Development of production aids, robotic gloves/measurement tools
• Assisting with any production disturbances
• Contacting external suppliers when needed
• Actively participating in Lean work
• Reporting risks/incidents/accidents

The position is full-time, daytime, located in Ängelholm. The position is a temporary hire for 6 months, after which it will transition to the customer.

In the role of Tool Technician, we are looking for a structured, driven, and proactive team player who enjoys both independent work and teamwork.

To succeed in the position of Tool Technician, we expect you to have:

• High school education with a focus on industry, technology, or mechanics, e.g., industrial technology or technical program.
• Post-secondary education at a vocational school specializing in molds or production technology.
• Practical experience in tool manufacturing, repair, or maintenance.
• Skills in turning, grinding, and milling.
• Experience in reading technical drawings.
• Forklift certification.

At their two facilities in Torekov and Ängelholm, Nolato Polymer AB works with injection molding of plastic primarily for the Swedish industry. Husqvarna, Kinnarps, and SKF are examples of major customers. They have about 105 employees and are facing expansive growth in the coming years.
