The business area Heating and Cooling is responsible for the production and distribution of distant heating, distant cooling, and electricity production in southern Skåne. We are about 100 employees organized into four sections: Production, Distribution V/K, Optimization, and Project & Business Development.

We are now looking for a shift technician to join the Operations team, located at our modern combined heat and power plant in Örtofta (between Lund and Eslöv). We are also in the middle of a major future investment, building a new heat power plant that will be commissioned in the winter of 2027 – an investment that strengthens our delivery capacity and creates exciting opportunities for development in operations.

As a shift technician, you are a key person in the daily operations of our production facilities. You will work with:

• Rounds and monitoring of the facility

• Operations, troubleshooting and operational problem-solving

• Basic maintenance tasks and participation in shutdown/start-up procedures

• Work environment and safety work, e.g., work permits and safe shutdowns

• Optimization together with the shift team focusing on safety, environment, delivery, and economy

• Contribute to improvement work in routines and working methods, as well as support facility development

You have a positive and open attitude that builds trust within the team. You handle stress well and have a solution-focused approach. You take responsibility – both for your tasks and for the whole.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education and/or experience as a shift technician, operations engineer, marine engineer or equivalent

• Experience from similar operations, e.g., solid fuel combustion and/or heat pumps

• Driving license B is a requirement
