Global Service Manager at OPSIS LiquidLINE
Opsis ABSkåne län, Kävlinge
Previous experience is desired
Are you a technically inclined person with a strong drive who genuinely wants to travel and work internationally? Are you passionate about technical support and training, and do you enjoy meeting customers and distributors from around the world? Then you might be the one we are looking for at OPSIS LiquidLINE!
We are seeking a driven and outgoing Global Service Manager to take over from our current employee who is retiring. This is a key role in our growing global organization where you will work in a highly international environment with operations in over 50 countries.
About the role – a global assignment based in Furulund
As a Global Service Manager, your primary task will be to be the technical and application support pillar for our international distributors. A central part of the role is international support, sometimes with travel to provide this on-site.
You will have a unique opportunity to combine technology, support, training, and wet chemistry (laboratory work). If you do not have experience in chemistry/laboratory work today, a strong interest and willingness to learn this is an absolute requirement – we provide internal training!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical and application-related support to our distributors.
- Visiting customers with distributors for installation, support, training, and more complex problem-solving. Approximately 30–40 travel days per year are included in the role.
- Training our distributors, both at our headquarters in Sweden and around the world.
- Analyzing samples and providing application support in our wet chemistry laboratory.
- Final inspection of instruments before delivery, troubleshooting of software and hardware.
- Handling, sub-assembly, and packing of smaller components and spare parts.
The location is at OPSIS headquarters in Furulund.
Your profile – technology, drive, and willingness to travel
We are looking for someone who is ready to take on significant responsibility and sees it as an exciting challenge to travel and work across cultural boundaries.
Background and qualifications:
- A strong interest and willingness to travel internationally for support and training is a requirement.
- Technical education at least at the high school level and/or documented experience in mechanics and electronics.
- Chemistry/Lab interest (Requirement): Interest and willingness to learn everything about laboratory work and wet chemistry. Previous experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written, are a requirement.
- Good knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and computers.
- Previous experience in technical service to customers is desirable.
- Experience in chemistry, data, or HVAC is a plus.
Who are you as a person?
You are a person with self-drive, a strong sense of responsibility, and a positive attitude. You are service-oriented and feel engaged in helping our distributors and customers solve problems. You work solution-oriented and have the ability to drive tasks independently, while also being a good team player. You have a strong interest in technology, are curious, and ready to learn new things in our entrepreneurial-driven environment.
We offer you
You will become an important part of OPSIS LiquidLINE and a close-knit team that supports each other. We offer you:
- Flexible working hours.
- Collective agreement and wellness allowance.
- A comprehensive internal training on our advanced instruments and laboratory work.
- A unique opportunity to work in a global, technical, and exciting role.
