As a Production Technician with us, you will become one of the Production Management team, a group of six employees, and be located at Lindab Steel AB in Grevie.

Lindab Steel AB is responsible for the group's central sheet metal purchases. The company's production cuts, slits, and coils sheet metal, which is then used for pressing, construction, and sheet metal work. Lindab Steel AB has about 65 employees.

Main Responsibilities & Areas of Responsibility

• Responsible for the development and optimization of machines/processes
• Responsible for preparing documentation for new investments
• Responsible for commissioning new machines and other equipment
• Perform and document root cause analyses and corrective actions for deviations and workplace incidents in collaboration with the production team
• Support production in handling daily disruptions
• Responsible for planning machine maintenance in collaboration with the Maintenance Team
• Actively develop a systematic and standardized working method aimed at increasing safety, quality, and productivity
• Drive and support continuous improvement efforts
• Lead various types of technical projects – from feasibility study to implementation and follow-up

Your Background

We are looking for someone with a technical education at the university level or equivalent experience/education. You likely have a background in a manufacturing company with several years of experience in a similar role. You have good knowledge of project management, Lean, and production flows. You are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of the Office suite. Experience with Autocad and Maintmaster is a plus.
