Employment form: Temporary, fixed-term employment

Working hours and degree of employment: Daytime Monday to Friday, 80% or as agreed, but no more than 80%.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting, other compensation according to collective agreement

Job description

As an occupational therapist, you will work based on the individual’s wishes and needs to best promote a healthy everyday life. In this role, you will help maintain and develop the individual’s physical, cognitive, and social abilities. You will guide the nursing staff in tasks within the profession, manage documentation and deviations, and in some cases be responsible for activities for our elderly.

Examples of tasks:

• Guide nursing staff in tasks within the profession

• Risk and functional assessments and follow-ups

• Testing and prescribing aids

• Participate in team meetings and care planning

• Risk assessments related to the work environment

• Plan, prepare, and carry out activities in the operation together with the activity responsible

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in working in elderly care, where you contribute daily to creating a meaningful everyday life for our elderly. You are a customer-focused, service-oriented, and creative person who easily builds relationships and has good collaboration skills. For the role, it is required that you are a licensed occupational therapist, preferably with experience in elderly care.

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden.

We are looking for you who:

• Are educated and a licensed occupational therapist

• Have knowledge of documenting in journal systems (ICF or VIPS)

• Possess good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in elderly care or home care

• Experience working with people with dementia

• Experience working as an activity responsible
