We are looking for someone who wants to work as an operations technician focused on our treatment plants in Falkenberg.

You will be an important part of the team that ensures our facilities operate safely and that environmental goals are met. The team is on a journey of change where we work on optimizing our processes and working methods.

In this role, you will work with:

• operating and performing operator maintenance of wastewater treatment plants and associated pumping stations within the designated operational area
• driving process and operational control according to applicable operational strategies and emission requirements
• monitoring and evaluating operational results and various operating conditions
• participating in development and project work

You will work according to a defined self-monitoring program. The position is based at Smedjeholms treatment plant in Falkenberg but may involve work throughout Falkenberg municipality. After an introductory period, you may be on call. The position is a temporary contract until 2026-11-30 but with the possibility of extension.

You have a technical education focused on operations/process, control and regulation technology, or equivalent work experience as assessed by the employer.

Furthermore, you have experience in operating water and wastewater facilities or process industry.

A driving license (B) and good computer skills are required.

Knowledge in automation, electronics, mechanics, chemistry, and biology is considered an advantage.
