We are now looking for a Installation Manager for the Electrical and I&C Assembly/Testing Group at Ringhals.

About the Job

The Electrical and I&C Assembly/Testing Group is responsible for carrying out installation tasks within electrical and I&C as part of the facility modification process.

We perform installations and test them with high safety and the right quality according to the schedule. During facility modifications, the Installation Manager for electrical and I&C is responsible for the electrical assembly and participates in project groups (with representatives from many parts of the Ringhals organization) as an expert in assembly issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Management/monitoring of assembly issues during the design phase
  • Preparing cost estimates and time & resource planning for implementation
  • Handling change documentation from design and compiling/preparing this into assembly documentation (drawings, cabinet documentation, control plans, detailed interruption documentation, etc.)
  • Creating implementation descriptions
  • Conducting risk analyses
  • Ensuring that work reviews are conducted before implementation

The Installation Manager has overall responsibility for planned installations during the implementation phase and manages the relevant resources and conducts assembly inspections.

Requirements Specification

About You

In this role, you need to have a solid practical background in electrical assembly. We are looking for someone who is a high school or university engineer with a focus on electricity, or has worked their way to equivalent knowledge. You will be the expert in the project groups and therefore need to confidently understand, plan, and quality assure installation and assembly work in complex facilities. Experience from nuclear power or other advanced process industries is highly meritorious for quickly getting into the work.

To thrive as an Installation Manager, you need to be someone who naturally takes the lead, has good structure, and enjoys working closely with both assemblers and the rest of the project organization. The role also requires good communication skills and the ability to create consensus within the team.

For this role, the following requirements are particularly important:

  • Documented experience in electrical assembly, for example as an installer or leading assembler
  • Experience from nuclear power plants or other complex process industries
  • Ability to lead a team and drive work forward with clarity and engagement
  • Good communication and planning skills
  • Very good Swedish in speech and writing
