Vehicle and Machinery Repair Technician

Kommuntransport is responsible for renting vehicles to the municipality's operations. We manage and administer around 850 vehicle units and are also responsible for goods distribution to all municipal operations. We also handle the booking system and customer support for the municipality's shared car pool.

What You Will Do

We are looking for a repair technician for vehicles and machinery, such as lawn mowers, excavators, beach cleaners, forestry machines, tractors, and trucks. As a technician with us, you will troubleshoot and rectify various faults that arise and work with service and maintenance of our machinery fleet. In addition to working in the workshop, you may occasionally need to transport vehicles to different workshops.

You will perform a large part of your work independently but will also be part of a team including other technicians, customer service representatives, transporters, and damage and repair assessors. Your placement will be in our workshop on Karl Ifvarssons gata.

Your Experience

We are looking for someone with experience in troubleshooting and repairing machinery and vehicles. You have a B driver's license for manual transmission and are comfortable using systems and digital tools to document and communicate with both colleagues and external contacts. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you are comfortable with hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and welding.

It is also advantageous to have:

• Forklift license
• Overhead crane license
• Extended B driver's license (B96)
• Certification for hot work
