HYLTE PAPER AB is one of the most modern and environmentally friendly paper producers with a long and proud history. We produce environmentally certified paper of world-leading quality using raw materials from locally and responsibly managed forests. The mill is located in the interior of Halland, about 50 km east of Halmstad, with a capacity of approximately 250,000 tons of newsprint.

We are now looking for mechanics for our maintenance department. If you have a knack for technical problem-solving, this could be the right position for you!

What do we offer you?

We are currently seeking several mechanics for our maintenance department. You will be part of the UH Mek & Bygg section, where you will work on maintaining and developing our production equipment.

The role offers independent and varied work with great opportunities for development and learning.

About the position

In the section, we are responsible for corrective and preventive maintenance and work with:

• mechanical repairs

• hydraulic and pneumatic work

• machining

• vehicle maintenance

As a mechanic, you will primarily work on:

• Performing corrective and preventive maintenance according to the maintenance system

• Seeking technical solutions and addressing faults in collaboration with production

• Ensuring quality and documenting completed work in our maintenance system

• Participating in planning and follow-up meetings regarding planned stops

• Assisting in the commissioning of new installations and projects

We place great emphasis on teamwork. You will work closely with production staff and other stakeholders and are willing to contribute outside your own area of responsibility when needed.

The role demands high communicative and collaborative skills, as our section functions as a service function to production. You will work closely with production personnel and other stakeholders, and when necessary, contribute outside your own area of responsibility.

Your knowledge and experience

Your educational background is technical, and we prefer that you have several years of knowledge and professional experience in the field. If you have recently studied in a relevant area, we encourage you to apply.

The role requires you to handle Swedish fluently in both speech and writing, and you should have good computer skills.

The working hours are daytime, and the position is full-time, starting as soon as possible.
