The Role of Security Technician with Us

As a security technician with us, you play an important role in creating safety in our operations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain, service, inspect, and inventory medical technical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair medical technical equipment.
• Manage the purchase of equipment and spare parts and keep the warehouse organized.
• Document and work in the municipality's digital systems.
• Support colleagues with related tasks as needed.

The work may also involve installation and management of alarms and locks for individuals receiving home care. This means that you sometimes work in the users' homes and have close contact with the operations. The role is cross-municipal and encompasses several operations, such as care and nursing homes, special accommodations, and home care.

Your Profile

You are a person who can work independently and in a structured manner, taking responsibility for your tasks. The role requires you to easily collaborate and have a service-oriented approach. You are practically inclined and have a technical interest. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has relevant technical education or work experience that the employer deems equivalent.
• Has good computer skills.
• Holds a valid driver's license (B).

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience with medical technical equipment.

The mission of the Property Department is to meet the municipality's total space needs. We manage approximately 400,000 square meters of owned and rented premises that are rented internally to the municipality's various operations. We primarily manage schools, sports halls, preschools, and a few special accommodations. The properties we handle range from historical buildings to newly built ones.

We are responsible for:

• A safe and secure environment in and around the municipality's properties. We provide training in fire safety and CPR.
• Coordination, design, follow-up, and function of locks, alarms, and surveillance in and around the municipality's properties.
• Coordination and follow-up of the municipality's internal security work with associated resources and functions.
• The municipality's internal security work.
• Providing support in the municipality's joint work with safety and preparedness.
