In the Falkenberg factory, we have about 350 employees. We are a modern organization with high-tech machines and an innovative way of working. Technology development and upgrade projects are constantly on the agenda. Our production is in fast-moving consumer goods. In the factory, we manufacture diapers and incontinence products, primarily for markets in Central and Eastern Europe.

About the role
As an Electrical Maintenance Leader at Essity, you will be a role model in safety and take the lead in creating standards for all technology related to electrical maintenance. You will contribute to achieving the team's and maintenance department's KPIs, such as costs, downtime, and implementation of maintenance strategies. You will create, implement, and keep standards for electrical maintenance updated, and have the mandate to develop new maintenance strategies. You will work in SAP-PM to ensure that the strategies are in the system. You will collaborate with engineers and maintenance groups across departments and inform and train staff on maintenance and new standards. You will have 17 direct reports.
Your responsibilities
- Department head for electricians and central systems
- Responsible for operations and maintenance strategies as well as instructions for electrical distribution and central systems in the factory
- Coaching and coordinating shift electricians and specialists through skill development and ensuring the right level of knowledge
- Electrical installation responsibility (Facility responsibility) for the factory and responsible for appointing personnel who can work as electricians
- Responsible for the department's budget and the factory budget for electrical maintenance and central systems
- Understand and apply the vision of Zero Stops & Zero Breakdowns via TPM – reduce unplanned stops in daily work
- Analyze and eliminate process problems related to central systems and factory electrical
- Lead improvements in relevant areas, implement and follow up on results
- Take the lead in root cause analyses daily with a focus on maintenance and downtime
Who are you?
To thrive in this role, it is important to have a good understanding of electricity and a proactive, results-oriented approach. Words like structured, responsible, and quality-conscious describe you well. You naturally think outside the box and constantly strive to develop both yourself and the maintenance work. You have good communication and coaching skills and enjoy collaborating with others.
You have:
- Education in electrical engineering or equivalent production background
- At least 5 years of experience in similar work within electrical maintenance
- Leadership experience
- Experience from the process industry
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of ERP SAP PM
- TPM is a plus
- Project management experience is a plus
