Operations Technician – Technical Operations of Municipal Properties

Kungsbacka is a growing municipality where both people and businesses are developing.

We are now looking for two operations technicians who want to help ensure a safe, efficient, and sustainable technical operation of the municipality's properties. The Role of Operations Technician with Us

As an operations technician, you will be part of one of our operations teams, consisting of property managers, technical managers, project leaders, operations technicians, and property technicians. In parallel, there is a specialized function for operational optimization and energy monitoring, with which you will closely collaborate in your daily work.

You will work with the technical operation and supervision of our properties, focusing on functionality, energy efficiency, and good indoor environment. The role is both operational and coordinating and involves many contacts – both internally and externally.

Examples of Job Responsibilities:

• Operation, supervision, and troubleshooting of technical installations (for example, ventilation, heating, control, and monitoring systems).
• Handling of cases and alarms via property systems and control systems.
• Monitoring of operational data and energy, in collaboration with the operational optimization function.
• Contact and coordination with contractors and suppliers.
• Participation in corrective and planned maintenance.
• Contributing to the development of work methods, routines, and technical solutions.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• a technical high school education, preferably in property management, energy, electrical engineering, or control and regulation technology, or practical experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
• experience in technical operations of properties, preferably public premises.
• good experience working with computerized control and monitoring systems.
• system knowledge of cooling and heating pump systems.
• basic knowledge of cold and hot water and VVC.
• experience handling thermal cameras and other instruments for measuring building conditions.
• experience measuring air flows and interpreting measurement results and making suggestions for adjustments as needed.
• a valid driver's license (B).

It is advantageous if you have:

• knowledge in energy monitoring or operational optimization.
• electrical qualifications or equivalent competence.
• experience working in case or property systems.
• experience working with our overarching control system Regin Arrigo and/or our case and property systems Artvise and Pythagoras.

• Service-oriented with good collaboration skills.
• Comfortable prioritizing and making decisions in daily operations.
• You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work.
• You have good computer skills.

The mission of Service Properties is to meet the collective space needs of Kungsbacka Municipality. We manage approximately 400,000 square meters of owned and leased premises used by the municipality's operations, such as schools, preschools, nursing homes, and sports facilities. The mission includes property operation and maintenance, planned and emergency maintenance, lease administration, and support for new and renovation projects.
