The Role of Operations Technician with Us

We offer a varied job where you work independently in certain tasks and are part of a team for other tasks. You will manage the daily operations of pumping stations and the treatment plant. This includes daily/weekly inspections, calibration of instruments, preventive maintenance, and sampling according to a schedule. Some of the work is handled via control and monitoring systems.

On-call duty is included in the position.

Your Profile

As a person, you are accommodating in your approach and attentive to your surroundings. You create new contacts as well as maintain your current work relationships. You take responsibility and drive your work forward, delivering results and prioritizing your tasks efficiently. You see opportunities in changes, take your own initiatives, and come up with new approaches to work-related issues. You are a problem solver who enjoys physical work. You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• has relevant experience in a technical profession such as operations technician, service technician, car mechanic, or similar
• can work in Microsoft Office
• has a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you have:

• relevant experience with control systems
• C1 driver's license

We are proud of our treatment plants in Kungsbacka. We use few chemicals and instead let bacteria remove phosphorus in our Bio-P plants. The resulting phosphorus-rich sludge is Revaq certified and everything is returned to agriculture.

In Kungsbacka, there are four larger treatment plants that receive and treat wastewater, where the wastewater treatment unit works with the operation and maintenance of treatment plants and pumping stations.

You will be part of our team of 22 employees in roles such as operations technicians, process technicians, process engineers, environmental engineers, and an administrator.
