Your New Workplace

Holmen's People Service is responsible for the group's payroll management and provides support in matters related to time, salary, HR systems, and HR processes. Our base is in Norrköping, but we also have offices in Hallstavik and Kroksjön.

We work closely with HR, managers, and employees and are an important and appreciated part of the organization. The team has a broad and deep competence with a common mission: to create security, quality, and good service within the payroll area.

The position is located in Norrköping, in centrally located premises close to the travel center.

Your Future Challenge

As a payroll specialist, you will be responsible for parts of – and the entirety of – the payroll preparation process. You will work in a structured and independent manner with high quality in delivery, while also being part of a team where collaboration and knowledge sharing are a given.

You will work in an organization characterized by clear deadlines and recurring processes, but also by the development of work methods and routines. The role has an international aspect, which means that you will sometimes collaborate and communicate in English.

Examples of Tasks:

• Preparation, calculation, and quality assurance of salaries according to applicable laws and collective agreements
• Management of sick leave, absences, benefits, pensions, and time
• Post-processing after payroll runs, such as reporting (e.g., AGI), deductions, certificates, and annual incomes
• Work with annual processes such as vacation, ATK, and pre- and post-processing during salary revisions
• Answer questions from managers, employees, and HR regarding salaries and time
• Case management primarily in the payroll system HR+
• Contribute to the development of routines, standard responses, and work methods within People Service

To Succeed in the Role

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant vocational training in payroll or equivalent knowledge through work experience
• At least five years of experience in independent payroll preparation
• Experience working in larger and more complex payroll systems (over 1000 employees)
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English
• Good IT skills, especially in the Office suite and Excel
• Good ability to interpret and apply collective agreements for both salaried and hourly employees

Preferred Experience Includes:

• Payroll work within industry/shifts
• Payroll work within Europe
• HR+, ProMark/Worklinq, Cornerstone
• Working with support or service in the payroll area
• Familiarity with case management systems
