Administrator in Technical Management
The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, remand centers, and client transport.
The Property Department is responsible for ensuring that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service has the facilities required for the authority's operations. This includes planning, management, development, and decommissioning. The section for technical management and development is part of the property technical unit. The section is responsible for the management of technical security systems within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an administrator, you will work with administrative tasks within the area of technical management. This includes everything from monitoring and distributing cases from our email inbox to administering technical training and record-keeping. The role also includes monitoring and purchasing licenses for technical security systems and processing applications regarding alarm transmitters. The work may also involve other administrative support and technical assistance to the operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is self-driven and structured. You take great responsibility for your tasks and plan, prioritize, and organize your work effectively. You can set and adhere to deadlines and drive your processes forward. In your role as an administrator, you both drive and complete cases and return cases to the correct instance independently. Furthermore, you have a high ability to collaborate and are service-oriented. You find it easy to create dialogue with others and can work well with other people. You are calm, accommodating, and attentive in your interactions and clear and receptive in your communication. Finally, you easily grasp the overall view of your tasks. You understand the importance of your role and ensure the best interests of the operations in both actions and decisions.

We are looking for someone who has:
- A university degree or other education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
- Experience in administrative tasks, minute-taking, documentation, and access requests
- Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
It is advantageous if you have:
- Experience in similar tasks within or in collaboration with a government agency
- Experience in record-keeping
- Experience in security-related tasks such as procurement, contracts, security vetting
- Experience in technical security
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: overarching alarm systems, CCTV systems, portable panic alarms, intercom systems, access control systems, key control systems, network/server/storage, x-ray, metal detection, indoor coverage, or Rakel/Swen
