What will you be working with?

As a customer communicator, you are the first point of contact for customers when they call. You handle many incoming calls, both with colleagues and sometimes independently. You will work as a receptionist and switchboard operator at Region Östergötland.

Your main tasks include:

• Receiving and answering incoming calls/visitors in a professional and service-oriented manner
• Managing calls by effectively directing them further
• Providing support and answering questions from callers and visitors
• Independently searching for and using the right information to provide the best possible assistance to those who call or visit
• Actively contributing with improvement suggestions to develop our service towards customers and our own operations

Who are you?

You are a service-oriented person who wants to make a difference for people and is attentive to everyone who calls in and visits the reception and their needs. You can handle difficult calls under time pressure and have the ability to adapt to each unique call. You work efficiently and structured, and benefit from this during periods of high tempo. You are a team player who steps up when needed, but also enjoy working independently.

We are looking for you:

• Previous experience from switchboard/reception or work in the service industry is strongly meritorious.
• You can work both day, evening, weekend, and night, as the schedule varies
• Your Swedish and English are good in both spoken and written form
• You find it easy to search for and absorb information via computer, and experience from working in various systems and programs is a plus

About the position

• Employment type: Hourly employment as needed
• Working hours: Weekdays and weekends
• Start date: Immediately
