About the Unit

The City Environment and Infrastructure unit works with planning and commissioning investigations and investment projects in public spaces and infrastructure. We handle climate and environmental adaptations, such as stormwater management, extreme rainfall, and landslide prevention measures. We have expert knowledge in land use to ensure that sustainability, environmental considerations, and climate adaptation are integrated at all stages.

We are now seeking a summer substitute traffic planner who is eager to learn and wants to contribute!

Your Tasks

In the role of summer substitute traffic planner, you will carry out investigations aimed at creating safe, secure, and accessible travel for our residents, businesses, and visitors.

Your tasks include conducting investigations, studying relevant literature, following developments in the world, and mapping the current situation in the city. You will document this in reports shared with your colleagues and the organization. A significant part of the work will involve producing current situation analyses and environmental analyses that can be further developed.

You will be offered a varied role where you will have good opportunities to gain valuable experience for your future career in a short time. This role is suitable for you who want to contribute to investigating societal benefits, where you will be able to analyze measures within infrastructure from a municipal perspective.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with an ongoing or recently completed university education in logistics or urban planning who is interested in applying their theoretical knowledge.

Perhaps you have previous experience working in logistics and urban planning? Or is this your first job in the field?

You are a person with good computer skills and can easily adapt to different systems; if you also have knowledge of QGIS, that is a plus.

As a person, you are self-driven and structured in your work. You are solution-oriented and can adapt to various tasks and flexibly solve situations that arise.

You have good collaboration skills, communicate clearly, are engaged, and perform your tasks reliably with a focus on quality results.
