Do you want a role where you can be close to production, solve real problems, and simultaneously drive improvements that make a difference? HydraSpecma Wiro in Motala is now looking for a production engineer who wants to take clear responsibility for developing our working methods, processes, and production flows.

With us, you will be an important part of the daily operations – with great opportunities to influence and improve.

About HydraSpecma Wiro

HydraSpecma is a market leader in application-specific systems and components for hydraulics in the Nordic region. We are part of the publicly traded group Schouw & Co and have over 1500 employees globally. In Motala, we have about 80 employees and primarily work with the manufacturing, gas, and wind industries.

We are a business in strong growth and development. We value a familial and inclusive work culture while offering the stability and opportunities that come with being part of a large corporation.

Responsibilities and Duties

In the role of production engineer, you will work both operationally and developmentally close to the business. You will drive improvements related to quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness and be involved in investments and the development of the production process.

Your responsibilities include initiating improvements in working methods and equipment to achieve better cost-effectiveness. Driving production development and working with post-calculations, as well as actively working to reduce deviations, scrap, and internal errors, are also part of your responsibilities. Together with the business and quality engineers, you will ensure quality, efficiency, and stability in production. Your responsibilities also include ordering fixtures and production-related tools and equipment, proposing and evaluating investments in production, and participating in and driving the PFMEA work.

The role entails a significant degree of personal responsibility and requires you to thrive in an environment where you sometimes need to prioritize, act quickly, and think long-term. You will also be an important key person in our continued work to implement 5S and Lean.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a practical and technical background who enjoys combining problem-solving with improvement work. You are self-sufficient, take responsibility, and like to drive things to completion.

Requirements

  • Practical experience as a production engineer in an industrial environment
  • Good knowledge of risk assessment and control plans (PFMEA)
  • Good understanding of mechanics and a genuine technical interest
  • Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

We value individuals with strong problem-solving abilities who dare to make and implement decisions. You are driven and enjoy working independently while collaborating well with others. You communicate clearly and simply, and you have an unpretentious working style where the goal is always to find the best solution for the business.

Our Offer

We offer a role where you will have significant responsibility and the opportunity to influence. With us, you will work in a modern production environment with a clear focus on development and improvements. We belong to an international group, and there are good opportunities for knowledge exchange and professional development within the group.
