We are looking for a senior systems engineer for a technically advanced assignment in aerospace technology. You will play a central role in the development of future control systems for combat aircraft, where system safety, traceability, and a structured approach are crucial. The assignment involves close collaboration between hardware and software in complex systems as well as dialogue with multiple stakeholders, including subcontractors.

• Lead and drive the system safety work in the project and conduct technical dialogues with subcontractors
• Conduct and document safety analyses, including FMEA
• Define and document requirements for interfaces to avionics systems and computer platforms
• Plan and execute testing, verification, and qualification of hardware and software in rig
• Collaborate with the purchasing function and other cross-functional teams

• Senior experience in systems engineering in complex technical systems
• Experience in system safety and safety-related analyses
• Knowledge of device development processes and associated procedures, for example from the aerospace, automotive, or medical technology industries
• Relevant higher education in systems engineering, electronics design, or system integration
• Experience in type testing, verification, and qualification work
• Ability to work in a structured manner and drive technical issues in cross-functional environments
• Interest in aviation and advanced technical systems
• Ability to undergo and be approved in a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not permitted)

• Experience in project management
• Familiarity with working methods and processes related to the Gripen program, such as Aircraft Computer System, System Engineering Management Plan, and Software Development Plan
