Job Description

The position is a spring/summer temporary position starting April 1, 2026. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time!

As an employee at our office in Norrköping, you will become part of a close-knit team. The length of shifts is often between 8-12 hours. The current position is scheduled for weekdays, so you have weekends free for fun activities!

As a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. You are employed by Securitas but work under the regulations of the police authority. Your primary task is to make people feel safe in their everyday lives. You do this by being present in public places, and hopefully, it has a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act.

Securitas has varied assignments that create a significant impact on other people's lives, and here you have the opportunity to make a real difference!

Qualifications

We believe that you are a stable and stress-resistant person who can handle pressure and manage setbacks well. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in your interactions with the public, but you also understand the responsibility of your role and can remain objective when required. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

• You have a security guard training and a valid security guard permit
• You have passed grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B
• Availability for work up to full-time during the period of April–August.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have passed grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective regulations, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
