Education Administrator at the General Medicine Education Center

We are now looking for someone who wants to work as an education administrator at the General Medicine Education Center, responsible for continuing education for district nurses, registered nurses, nursing assistants, and dietitians.

The position also includes responsibility for support to ST doctors, health center managers, and study directors regarding ST education issues.

The General Medicine Education Center (AMC) is an education and continuing education organization for primary care staff and part of the Primary Care Center. Within AMC, training for specialist training in General Medicine, Continuing Education, and Education Reception at the Skäggetorp Health Center is included. The continuing education activities within AMC target all professional categories in primary care.

Job Description

The position includes two areas of responsibility. The continuing education responsibility includes independently planning, organizing, administering, and conducting training in collaboration with primary care management and the continuing education organization at AMC.

The position also entails a primary responsibility for the administration of ST training in general medicine in the eastern part of the county, with work located in both Norrköping and Linköping. In these tasks, you will support study directors, health center managers, and ST doctors regarding schedule planning and the structure of training programs, and you will also administer ST courses. You will participate in the development work at AMC and be responsible for information on the website regarding ST information.

Work Group

At AMC, there are 13 employees with different professions who work together and in close collaboration with health center operations and primary care management.

About You

You have an educational background as a nurse with relevant specialist competence for primary care, as AMC collaborates with LiU regarding commissioned education, as well as experience working in primary care.

It is an advantage if you have previously worked with competence development issues, have experience with the region's education system competence portal. It is also advantageous if you have experience in administration regarding specialist training for doctors.

You have good IT skills, as well as good ability to express yourself in writing and verbally in both Swedish and English. Since the position involves some travel within the region, a driver's license is required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position involves multiple assignments which require good organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize. You need to be able to collaborate and create engagement and participation in various workgroups. In your work, you need to have a clear service-oriented and professional approach. You are curious and challenged by problem-solving and can work independently.
