Project Assistant in Advanced MRI

Workplace Description
The work will take place within the research group that works with advanced MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) within the Department of Diagnostic Radiology.
The group is interdisciplinary and consists of neuroradiologists, MR physicists, doctoral students, post-docs, clinical colleagues in neuroscience, neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, and international colleagues. The research group needs a project assistant for two ongoing research projects related to advanced MR imaging of patients concerning both retrospective MRI data and data from an ongoing study.

Job Responsibilities
Within the framework of ongoing projects, we are looking for a Project Assistant to work with the following tasks:
- Assist in the collection of patient data.
- Work on creating Excel compilations with only study numbers (pseudo-anonymized data).
- Conduct simpler data analyses, especially focusing on the segmentation of white matter lesions both manually and with the help of AI-generated segmentation programs.
- Validate and quality review MRI images.
- Support other employees and participate in writing publications.
- Support the members of the research group in ongoing projects.
Other tasks may also be included.
Qualifications
Requirements for the position are:
- Completed medical education
- Good computer skills in Excel and Word
- Good knowledge of viewing MRI images of the brain
- Good knowledge of brain anatomy.
- Previously worked with the research group, familiar with the workplace
- Be meticulous, diligent, and easy to collaborate with others
Meritorious for the position are:
- Completed and finished medical education.
- Previously worked and/or performed post-processing analyses of MRI examinations of the brain.
- Validated and quality-reviewed MRI image material of the brain.
- Previously viewed MR images for research purposes.
Other
The position is a fixed-term employment for 10.5 months with a scope of 30%. Desired start date is February 16, 2026, or by agreement.
