Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Naeem Ullah Khan (Field Operation Manager Trainborne), and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates. As Test Leader, you will be carrying out test, commissioning and troubleshooting on the safety signalling system implemented on trains.

We’ll look to you for:

• Performing type and serial verifications in accordance with the specification
• Signing records after performed tests
• SW installations and calibration settings
• Monitoring and reporting errors
• Supporting and logging information during field surveys, where and how to install and receive signals from vehicles (Locos and EMUs)
• Writing test specifications
• Verifying test specifications to be released
• Supporting warranty and service department
• Ability to handle multiple stakeholders; you will interface with customers, PMs, application engineers, test leads, etc.

• Upper secondary education (Gymnasium), Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or equivalent.
• Previous experience with new installation activities (HW and SW), maintenance activities or other practical fields are essential.
• Ability to understand electrical schematics and troubleshoot on-site challenges.
• Experience in the rail industry is meritorious.
• Rigor, autonomy, and teamwork.
• Fluent in English; Swedish is a major advantage.
• Flexibility required; services and warranty cases can arise last minute and thereby impact planning.
• Regular travels in the Nordics and abroad.
