The Department of Close Care and Health was established on January 1, 2025, and is currently under construction. The department is responsible for grant-funded care activities within Close Care. This includes mobile teams and specialized palliative care, outpatient services within close care, emergency care within close care, 1177 by phone, and certain region-wide functions. Additionally, the department is responsible for the development and follow-up of the transition to close care in Region Skåne. The number of employees is estimated to be around 1,000.

Emergency Care within Close Care and Health consists of emergency departments that are not open 24/7 and evening and weekend clinics within Region Skåne. The southern area within the Emergency Care Department includes the Evening and Weekend Clinics in Malmö, Trelleborg, and Ystad, as well as the emergency department in Trelleborg.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will combine your position between the emergency department in Trelleborg and the weekend clinic. The distribution will be approximately 30 percent at the weekend clinic and the remaining 70 percent at the emergency department.

In the role of nursing assistant at the weekend clinic, you will work with standard outpatient tasks within primary care/emergency care.

As a nursing assistant in the emergency department, you will have a workday that varies in both content and challenges, where you are a natural and central part of the patient's care. We have an open climate and approach towards each other and our patients. The work environment you are offered is exciting, sometimes stressful, but at the same time incredibly fun and challenging.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to see both our operations and develop in both acute care management and how we direct our patients to the right care instance.

Work will be scheduled both during the day, in the evening, and two weekends out of five.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a trained nursing assistant and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you have studied according to previous or current program structures. If you have studied according to previous program structures, it is an advantage to have a specialization in emergency care/health care. It is also a requirement to have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Additionally, you should have work experience in inpatient care. Experience in emergency care is an advantage.
