Medical Secretary for Adult Psychiatry in Kalmar

We are looking for a curious and engaged medical secretary for adult psychiatry in Kalmar.

With us, you will have a developing and varied assignment with great personal responsibility – where collaboration and shared commitment are the keys to the success of the operation. You will work closely with other medical secretaries as well as other healthcare personnel within the operations. Your main tasks will include medical record documentation, referral management, cash registration, as well as self-checks and follow-ups. Furthermore, we staff the information desk in the entrance hall on a rotating schedule.

Work content and methods are continuously developed – perfect for you who are structured, creative, and want to help improve the operation. You actively contribute to a positive work environment.

Your office will be located in one of our 24-hour wards in our newly built and modern psychiatric building in Kalmar. Organizationally, you will belong to a relatively newly formed team of 16 medical secretaries spread throughout the psychiatric building. As part of a newly started team, your contribution will make a difference as we continue to build a culture of community, engagement, and knowledge exchange together.

The position is a temporary contract for about a year, and working hours are scheduled during weekdays and weekends.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a trained medical secretary. Experience in administration and the Cosmic journal system is an advantage. Additionally, training in diagnostic classification is also beneficial.

You have a good ability to create positive relationships and thrive in close collaboration with colleagues from different professional groups. In the role of medical secretary, you will meet many people, and your professional demeanor combined with your genuine sense of service will contribute to a positive experience for everyone you meet.

You will work in newly built and modern facilities specifically adapted for specialist psychiatry. These facilities promote effective coordination within psychiatric operations and provide a pleasant environment for you, with spacious staff areas and a beautiful view of Kalmarsund and Öland. We are a clinic with 37 care places and about 230 employees. Here, there are three 24-hour care wards and two outpatient clinics.
