Nybro Energi is the local and customer-oriented energy company that is 100% owned by Nybro municipality and has a politically appointed board.

Our mission is to provide water and sewage, fiber connection, district heating, and electricity networks to large parts of Nybro municipality. We also offer electricity trading to customers throughout Sweden. We also produce electricity that corresponds to a quarter of the municipality's electricity consumption. The companies within Nybro Energi have a turnover of around 420 million kronor and employ approximately 70 people.

Do you want to work strategically with communication in an industry that is at the center of societal development? Nybro Energi is now looking for a Communications and Marketing Strategist to complement and strengthen our existing marketing department.

About the role

Nybro Energi is now strengthening its communication and marketing function by appointing a new strategic role. The position is a complement to the current Communications and Marketing Manager.

The role has a clear strategic focus and will contribute to highlighting Nybro Energi's work in energy issues, with particular emphasis on hydropower, electricity trading, and support service markets, as well as strengthening our visibility and position nationally. An important part of the assignment is to enhance Nybro Energi's digital visibility through work with digital advertising and search marketing. Together with the Communications and Marketing Manager, you will help develop a more long-term, proactive, and coordinated communication effort.

You will be part of an engaged and collaborative sales and marketing team where we value humility, knowledge sharing, and joy at work. There is room to contribute ideas, develop in your role, and work closely with the business.

Responsibilities

As a Communications and Marketing Strategist, you will among other things:

· Develop communication strategies that increase understanding of electricity trading, energy prices, and Nybro Energi's other offerings.

· Plan, execute, and follow up on digital advertising in relevant channels

· Work with search marketing (SEO and SEM) to increase visibility, traffic, and reach

· Create and coordinate content for digital channels in line with overarching communication strategies

· Create informational materials for households and businesses about the energy market.

· Coordinate and produce newsletters, information letters, and campaigns related to electricity trading and energy consumption.

· Develop content for the website that explains energy issues in a clear and pedagogical way.

· Engage in dialogue with industry actors and monitor energy policy issues that affect the company's communication.

· Conduct target group and environmental analyses within the energy sector.

· Follow up and evaluate communication efforts and campaigns

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has an interest in strategic communication and marketing work and who thrives in a role where you collaborate closely with other functions. You have the ability to make complex issues understandable and create communication that builds trust.

We would like you to have:

· Relevant education in communication, marketing, or similar.

· Experience in strategic communication work (preferably from the energy, community, or other knowledge-intensive sectors).

· Experience or good understanding of digital advertising and search marketing (SEO/SEM).

· Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.

· An interest in energy issues, sustainability, and societal development.
