About the position

As a quality coordinator, you will drive, manage, and further develop the authority's certified quality management system according to EN-ISO 13485 and ensure that quality work is integrated into the authority's processes and other governing documents, in close collaboration with other functions within quality. You will actively work with issues related to product quality and strive to ensure that quality requirements are implemented in practice within the organization. Furthermore, you will lead workshops and support process owners and process managers in the development and management of processes that meet relevant requirements from multiple perspectives. A central part of the work is also to follow up, analyze, and drive continuous improvements to ensure a long-term and effective quality effort.

You will be part of a team with a quality manager, quality coordinators, and quality and environmental coordinators working with the authority's integrated management system, as well as seven NMI specialists working with regulatory issues in the medical technology field, and a project manager.

About you

The role requires that you are quality-conscious with an eye for details and regulations, and that you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working together with different functions within the organization.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • a relevant academic degree
  • at least 3 years of current experience working with quality management systems (EN-ISO 13485 or SS-EN ISO 9001)
  • current experience in process mapping and business development
  • very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous for the position if you have:

  • current experience working in the public sector
  • current experience with integrated management systems covering, for example, quality, information security, environment, and work environment
  • current experience in validating IT systems according to requirements under medical technology regulations
  • current experience in supplier management and internal audits.

The employment is permanent with a six-month probationary period. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. The place of employment is Kalmar or Stockholm. The work may involve business trips, mainly between these two locations.
