Communicator for Health and Medical Care Administration

We offer you a chance to help develop the employer brand of the health and medical care administration by working with recruitment communication as well as internal and external communication for our three hospitals.

Your mission will include capturing employee stories to attract and recruit new colleagues to our health and medical care. You will also be responsible for our advertising, both in digital channels and in trade press, and manage the budget for this. Since the assignment involves the hospitals in Kalmar, Oskarshamn, and Västervik, travel is included in the job.

As a communicator with us, you will create and strengthen relationships, serve as communication support, produce text, images, and films, and work with our digital channels.

About You

We are looking for someone with an academic background in media and communication studies or equivalent. You should have a few years of work experience in communication and preferably have experience working with employer branding/recruitment communication in some form.

To thrive in this job, you need to have a broad skill set. You will be a strategic support and sounding board in various communication issues, but also have practical skills and be able to deliver the communication efforts needed. Knowledge of and experience working in digital channels is a requirement, as we do a lot of advertising in social media, for example. Text, images, and films are your most important tools, and you should be skilled at formulating messages for different target groups.

As a person, you are self-driven, take initiative, are meticulous, and deliver on time based on the circumstances. You have a proactive ability and are self-sufficient. Sometimes you will work on longer overarching projects, and sometimes quick tasks will be required, so it is an advantage if you enjoy varied workdays.

Your Future Workplace

You will become one of the employees at the Regional Communication Office. Here, you will find experienced colleagues with broad knowledge in the field of communication. We work with strategic and operational communication and support the management, managers, administrations, and operations of Region Kalmar County.

There is help available in several areas, and you will develop in your role as a communicator. We also hope that you will contribute to the development of your colleagues. The Director of Communication will be your supervisor, but in your daily work, you will collaborate closely with the HR organization and the employees at our three hospitals.
