Resident Physician in Occupational and Environmental Medicine

About the Department

The goal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine is to promote health in our region based on working life and the surrounding environment.

Our activities include patient investigations, risk identification and assessment, development of new knowledge methods and models, active knowledge dissemination, epidemiological monitoring, and development of regional collaboration. We conduct patient work with workplace investigations and environmental medical investigations regarding risk factors and correlation assessments, assignments, and research. The work is carried out in a multiprofessional manner. We are now looking for a resident physician for specialist training in occupational and environmental medicine.

What do we offer?

The position will include training to become a specialist in occupational and environmental medicine. This specialty involves varied work with risk factors and health conditions within most organ systems (including respiratory, musculoskeletal, and nervous systems).

Job Responsibilities

The work involves, under supervision, conducting patient investigations (work environment and external environment), research, information, and assignment projects focused on work, environment, and health, as well as participation in teaching in the field. The work is partly project-based.

About You

You are a licensed physician and should have an easy time collaborating and expressing yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English. Experience in occupational health services and/or research is an advantage.
