Job Responsibilities

The project section carries out land and construction work of various kinds – both new construction and maintenance, as well as reconstruction and repair work on streets, squares, parks, playgrounds, and other outdoor environments. Our assignments primarily come from the Property and Street Office and other administrations within the city of Malmö.

As a project manager, you are responsible for planning, implementation, and follow-up of construction projects. You lead and coordinate the various parts of the projects, from start to finish, and ensure that they are carried out according to the established budget, quality, and schedule.

Your role includes, among other things:

• leading and coordinating projects, including dialogue and collaboration with clients
• working with project economics: budget, financial follow-up, forecasts, and cost control
• producing cost estimates/calculations based on the client's needs
• keeping updated on relevant regulations and governing documents and ensuring compliance
• performing and being responsible for the tasks as BAS-P and BAS-U within the projects, and ensuring that the work environment efforts are planned, coordinated, and followed up according to applicable requirements
• contributing to the ongoing internal development work of the Municipal Technology

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant higher education or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
• At least three years of documented experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in production, calculation work, and project economics within construction, as well as independently managing projects with documented results.
• Experience with AMA construction, AB/ABT, Bas P/U, KMA
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Driving license B for manually shifted vehicles.
• Experience working administratively and good knowledge of the Office suite.

It is meritorious to have:

• Project management training or equivalent
• Documented contract law competence and experience.
• Familiarity with LOU

It is important that you can analyze situations, see solutions and development opportunities in various situations. You are independent in your role but understand the value of working closely with your colleagues; you see synergies and the whole picture.
