Site Manager at Thage i Skåne AB

Thage i Skåne AB (THAGE) is part of the family-owned Thage Group. Here, we work with short decision-making paths, take personal responsibility, and always go the extra mile for both our customers and each other. We currently have around 275 employees within the group and a turnover of approximately 1 billion. Our group consists of construction operations with our own contracting, construction service, core drilling, and carpentry departments, as well as sheet metal work, forging, and property management. THAGE represents the construction operations and carries out everything from large construction contracts and collaboration projects to smaller construction service projects. With us, you as an employee are in focus, and it is important for us that you get to grow and develop in your role. We are certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 (Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health and Safety), but above all, we have decided to be the best builder in our market. THAGE builds southern Sweden with commitment, efficiency, and simple decision-making paths.

About the Position

Thage i Skåne AB is looking for a site manager who enjoys responsibility, problem-solving, and a fast-paced work environment – and who ultimately wants to progress to the role of Site Manager.

With us, you will work closely with customers, craftsmen, and the site manager on various construction service assignments. You will be the one who keeps the day-to-day operations together, finds solutions quickly, and ensures that projects are running smoothly.

The Role in Brief – What You Actually Do with Us

As a site manager, you are the hub of our construction service projects. You collaborate with the site manager and have significant operational responsibility in your daily tasks. Here is a selection of your areas of responsibility:

  • Plan and coordinate work on-site – the right resources in the right place at the right time.
  • Support craftsmen, answer questions, and ensure that everyone has the right information, tools, and conditions.
  • Monitor quality, environment, and occupational health and safety, and inform the team about new routines and policies. Maintain order, ensure routines, and contribute to a good working environment.
  • Manage logistics and waste coordination, including monitoring environmental goals.
  • Introduce new machines/equipment and ensure that everyone uses them correctly and safely.
  • Participate in review and experience meetings with the project team.
  • Invoice in delegated projects and keep track of the finances in your areas.
  • Take on the role of BAS-P in projects if necessary.

Site managers with us have a hands-on role where you are frequently in the field and have daily contact with both colleagues and customers.

Who Are You?

You are someone who takes initiative, enjoys driving things forward, and easily creates security and order around you. You are a role model as a leader and have several years of experience in leading. You have a desire to develop further towards the role of site manager.

We would like you to have:

  • At least three years of experience as a site manager in construction service or similar.
  • Good IT skills, especially in Microsoft 365.
  • Vocational training in production management or equivalent.
  • A driver's license and good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.

Meritorious: basic training or experience in construction law, fundamental knowledge in finance and financial management, as well as experience with project management systems such as Next and knowledge in calculation programs such as Bidcon.
