Malmö City is looking for a contractor for maintenance of equipment in public environments

Job Responsibilities

With us, you will primarily work with maintenance, installation, and repair of playground equipment in parks as well as other park equipment such as park benches, tables, and trash cans. The work includes stone setting and carpentry work as well as work near water.

Heavy lifting is involved, and the work is outdoors year-round.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with vocational high school education in construction or equivalent education or experience. You should also have a machine operator's license for excavators and wheel loaders.

It is an advantage if you have the following skills/training:

• Experience in creating carpentry work based on the client's wishes.
• Experience in assembly and installation of play equipment and the ability to follow assembly instructions for larger installations (e.g., playgrounds).
• Training: Work on the road

To thrive with us, it is important that you are punctual and follow legal requirements and safety regulations. You are a service-oriented person who shows commitment to the organization and understands the importance of communicating well with those you work with. The work is performed both independently and in teams.

A prerequisite for the job is that you master the Swedish language in speech & writing, a B driver's license for manually shifted vehicles, and that you have basic computer skills, including in Outlook.
