The Disability Care in Umeå Municipality aims to be a resource that liberates and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life through proximity and interaction.

Humlevägen is a group residence according to LSS, focusing on intellectual disabilities. The residence has undergone extensive renovations in the past year and reopened at the turn of 2024/2025. We offer six living spaces in a new and fresh environment.

We are now looking for a new colleague! As a support assistant, you will be an important part of our team and contribute to creating a positive and supportive environment for our residents.

The work involves care tasks, heavy lifting, threats and violence, as well as a lot of physical activity in the form of walking, cycling, and swimming.

Co-planning may occur between our operations.

The working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

About You

You are engaged and willing to share our values and work towards set goals, as well as work with continuous improvements. You will work independently and be an important part of the team to support and help our residents towards an independent life. We appreciate if you are development-oriented and curious.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

To communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues, write and access care documentation, and receive medication delegation, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
