We are looking for you who have a driver's license and access to your own car, or alternatively you who live in the southern villages of Umeå or in the inland villages.

As a substitute, you have the opportunity to work at various workplaces within the municipality's preschools and primary schools, based on both the needs of the operations and your own availability.

We are now looking for substitutes for full-time or extra work to staff short-term needs within preschool and primary school in Umeå municipality, focusing on areas outside central Umeå, such as: Tavelsjö, Flurkmark, Sörfors, Överboda, Stöcke, Stöcksjö, and Yttersjö. If you live in any of these areas or have a driver's license and access to a car and can easily reach these villages, you are the one we are looking for!

Preschool:
You will work together with preschool teachers, childcare workers, and special educators to create a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children aged approximately 1–6 years.

Primary School (F–9):
You will be responsible for leading and conducting teaching independently for students aged 6–16 years. The work requires flexibility, clarity, professionalism, and good collaboration skills in a team with teachers and other educational staff.

The assignment means that you will be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant in Umeå municipality's preschools, primary schools, and leisure centers. Working hours are scheduled for weekdays, during the day.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Requirements for the position:
• Complete high school diploma or completed childcare education
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form
• Valid extract from the Swedish Police's criminal record

As a substitute, you play an important role in creating safety and joy in children's and students' days. It is important to have good collaboration skills and to be a good role model for the children and students. The work requires that you, as a person, enjoy working in different workplaces and have an easy time adapting to new routines and ways of working. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language. If you have a driver's license and access to your own car, this is seen as a positive aspect since some units are located outside central Umeå, but it is not a requirement.
