Play is an important tool for development, so it's good if you still have a childlike spirit. The girl's main interests are dance and music, water – both for playing and swimming, balls, throwing stones, trampolining, playing games, etc.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will work on developing social interactions, language skills, and play. Providing the girl with the conditions for life. The girl needs support and active supervision. She is a joy-bringer with a strong will. The girl has communication limitations. As an assistant, you will help where her disability is limiting, which includes communication, personal care, mobility, and various activities.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: It is desirable that you have education/experience working with children or adolescents. It is an advantage if you have experience working in care, support, and/or personal assistance and understand what it means to work in a family's home.

Personal Qualities: You should have a strong commitment and be able to take initiative, have an interest in working with children with disabilities, and be confident with good collaboration skills. You are flexible and attentive to the needs of others. There is a great deal of freedom under responsibility in this job, so it’s good if you are inventive and playful. Personal suitability will be highly valued.
