Are you an engaged and responsible person who wants to work with children and youth? We are currently looking for substitute teachers for preschools and schools in Umeå municipality. As a substitute, you are an important resource that contributes to safety, learning, and joy - every day!

As a substitute, you have the opportunity to work at different workplaces within the municipality's preschools and primary schools, based on both the needs of the operations and your own availability.

Preschool:
You will work together with preschool teachers, childcare workers, and special educators to create a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children aged approximately 1–6 years.

Primary School (F–9):
You will be responsible for leading and conducting teaching independently for students aged 6–16 years. The work requires flexibility, clarity, professionalism, and good collaboration skills in a team with teachers and other educational staff.

The assignment means that you will be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant in Umeå municipality's preschools, primary schools, and after-school centers. Working hours are scheduled for weekdays during the day.

THIS IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Requirements for the position:
• Complete high school diploma or completed childcare education
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form
• Valid extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record

As a substitute, you play an important role in creating safety and joy in the day of children and students. It is important to have good collaboration skills and to be a good role model for the children and students. The work requires that you enjoy working in different workplaces and can easily adapt to new routines and working methods. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language. If you have a driver's license and access to your own car, this is seen as a positive since some units are located outside central Umeå, but it is not a requirement.
