The family is looking for an experienced and reliable nanny who will not only provide support in daily life with the children but also companionship for the mother, who is often home alone during the day. It is important that the personal chemistry is right and that there is a mutual “click,” as the relationship should be based on trust, presence, and cooperation in daily life.

The family lives in Enskede, and the preschool is about 700 meters away, with a 20-minute walk. The working hours are approximately 15–25 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday, usually between 3 PM and 6 PM, but with the possibility of slightly longer days depending on the preschool's schedule. The tasks include picking up the daughter from preschool, either on foot, by bus, or using the family car if necessary, for example, in case of rain. The walk may also be combined with taking the family dog, a hypoallergenic Maltese.

The family is expecting their second child in February 2026 and plans to be on parental leave together throughout March. The nanny is expected to start her employment in early April 2026 and gradually assist with both children. The main focus of the role is to support the mother in daily life, especially since the father works a lot and is rarely home.

In addition to childcare, the mother wishes for help with everyday household chores. The idea is for the nanny to do the same things that the mother does at home, as much as possible. This mainly involves tidying up, keeping order, and performing light cleaning. If needed, the family can hire cleaning help, but it is a plus if the nanny is comfortable with these tasks. The role also includes preparing dinner for the children and the family, or reheating leftovers, as well as ensuring that the children have good and regular meals.

The family is looking for a nanny with several years of relevant experience. Languages that work are Swedish, Finnish, or English, but if English is the primary language, the nanny must also be able to communicate in Swedish.

Since the family lacks relatives nearby and moved to Sweden four years ago, flexibility is highly appreciated. There is a desire for the nanny to occasionally help out on weekends, accompany on short trips or weekends, and to have a fixed, recurring “date night” scheduled. The role suits someone who wants to become an important part of the family's life and daily routine and who thrives in a close, long-term, and personal working relationship.

Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis during the application period, and the position will be filled as soon as the right candidate is found.
