Positive 52-year-old man with a partner living in Täby seeks personal assistant, part-time approx. 50%

I am wheelchair-bound due to a muscle disease but am active and see opportunities in most things. My interests include outdoor activities, home and summer cottage, exercise, social issues, crafts, cooking, and music. The position currently involves working 2-3 days a week with the possibility of more hours in the future. Work shifts are typically scheduled during the day on weekdays. There may also be shifts at other times with advance notice. I am keen to ensure that my home is a good workplace and can, to some extent, adjust working hours based on the assistant's circumstances. As an assistant, you will help when my physical strength is insufficient, both in daily life and leisure. This may include: - Personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, transfers, exercise in and outside the home. - Household chores such as cooking, laundry/cleaning, and shopping. - Extra hands in craft work, accompanying me on errands, going for walks, or cycling.

I live centrally in Täby with easy access to trains and buses. For us to work well together, I believe you are between 25 and 55 years old, a cheerful, independent, meticulous, and creative person who enjoys being active and participating in various community activities. Since lifting is involved in transfers, you need to have good physical fitness, although personal lifting and transfer aids can also be used. Your Swedish is good but not necessarily perfect. You probably live in Täby or a nearby municipality.
