Your Responsibilities

As an assistant, you are a central part of the unit and ensure that the administrative handling runs smoothly so that social workers can focus on client work.

You will primarily be responsible for the administration of applications for economic assistance. This means you will check documents, communicate with clients when additional information is needed, review incomes and expenses, make decisions, document, and process payments in Life Care.

You will also contribute to developing the work with e-applications and encourage more clients to use digital services. The work is done in close collaboration with social workers and includes some client contact for simpler inquiries.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school education in administration, economics, or social sciences. You have experience in service work, administration within authorities, as well as good IT skills and the ability to express yourself clearly in speech and writing.

Experience in invoice management, the Life Care system, and knowledge of social law, public operations, and applicable regulations such as GDPR and the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act is advantageous.

The position is a temporary contract until December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension. We apply individual salary setting and background checks are conducted on the final candidate.
